Q.  What do you mean by frame of reference? what are  Inertial and Non-inertial frame of references? Explain with examples.

Frame of Reference : A system relative to which the motion of any object in discribed is called frame of reference or reference frame.
There are generally two types of  reference frame on the basis of -

  • The frame with respect to which unaccelerated body is unaccelerated.
  • The frame with respect to which an unaccelerated body is accelerated.
Ineretial frame of reference :  The reference frame which is addresed or moving with uniform velocity with respect to a fixed frame is called an inertial reference frame. So inertial frame is unaccelerated or non-rotetory.
Ex- Abody moving the road with contant velocity, then the road for this body act as inertial reference frame.

Non-Inertial frame of reference : Areference frame which is accelerated or rotetory is called as non-inertial frame of reference frame.
Ex- A reference frame attached to the aircraft which is make in as takeoff.
